We were contracted to deliver the project management and construction of over 60,000m2 of floor space, ranging from high-security data storage to new ancillary offices and welfare with a total project value exceeding £100million.

The building was completed on time and budget, demonstrating our commitment to working proactively and collaboratively to ensure maximum client satisfaction at all times.

Working closely with our client’s designers, we took a proactive approach which included advising on cost-effective design interpretation, programme and feasibility savings and long-term durability of the proposed installations.

Difficult ground conditions, including working over an existing mine and restrictions over the use of percussive piling led our team to redesign the initial substructure scheme, which included rainwater harvesting technology and ecological mitigation measures.

The superstructure design was revised to ensure no loss of aesthetic or function, but was delivered to ensure the most cost and time-efficient method of construction.
